Community Notice Boards and Street Banners

The Papakura district has nine community notice boards available for use by non-profit organisations or to promote Papakura-based events.

There is no charge (free) for the use of the notice boards however, the conditions of use stated for the community notice boards must be adhered to.

Conditions of Use

  • Must be a Papakura-based event
  • Boards to be supplied by the user of tanalised construction plywood (1200 x 1200 x 12.5mm) or corflute (1200mm x 1200mm)
  • Four week allocation period – longer if demand is low
  • 4 boards maximum
  • Council has the right to refuse any signs or events if considered inappropriate
  • No commercial advertising
  • Boards cannot be stored by Council
  • Users to erect and remove their own boards on days agreed

Removal

Boards should be removed on the last day of the booking term An alternative time for removal of boards may be arranged.
