Festival of Sailing

Voyager New Zealand Maritime Museum

Between 1-31 March 2010, Papakura district residents can visit the museum galleries and see Blue Water Black Magic –

A Tribute to Sir Peter Blake for just $5 per adult, with free admission for accompanying children aged 14 years or under. Papakura district residents only need to bring proof of address to take advantage of the admission offer, which does not include Voyager Live heritage vessel experiences.

Buckle Me In - Child Seat Clinic

Buckle Me In is a free child seat clinic run in association with Police, Plunket, WINZ, Safer Seatbelts, The Baby Factory, Safe2Go and the Papakura District Council

Make sure your child's seat is installed correctly! Technicians will be on site to install car seats correctly, free of charge. There will also be loads of free information packs to give away on the day and a number of staff from all the organisations to answer any questions you have.

Far from being a fad, the shift towards sustainability is gathering momentum at a rate that is catching many businesses unaware. Five Playcentres from the Counties Region are joining hands to celebrate Playcentre awareness week. We want to celebrate “Whanau Tupu Ngatahi – Families Growing Together” and to showcase to the community and our families what we do at Playcentre. This event will be aimed towards 0-6 year olds of past, present and future members and their families.
